Production
Voicemails for Isabelle was originally announced in 2019 with Hailee Steinfeld playing the lead, and Sharon Maguire directing, and Sony producing the film.[1] In May 2025, it was announced that Leah McKendrick would be writing and directing a romantic comedy film for Netflix, starring Zoey Deutch and Nick Robinson.[2][3] Principal photography began in July 2025, in Vancouver, Canada.[4] Nick Offerman, Lukas Gage, Harry Shum Jr., Ciara Bravo, Spencer Lord, Tanis Dolman, and Gil Bellows rounded out the cast in August 2025.[5]
Release
Voicemails for Isabelle is scheduled to be released on Netflix on June 19, 2026.[6]
